Introduction
In this guide, you are going to see user rights at the company level and at the project level. Permanent employees of your company are best added on the company level. People who only work on one or a few projects are best added at the project level.

- You need the "UserRightsManagement" user right.

How can I check what permissions a user has?
1. Use the menu on the left to navigate to the user menu.
2. You can search users by company level or by project level.
Only users added at company level will be listed under companies. This will not include all users who are in one of your company's projects. Users who are only in a few projects will be listed under the tab "Project users".
3. From the User menu, click on the user whose permissions you wish to see or change. In the edit screen, click the panel for "Company Rights" or "Project Rights."
If a user is added at the company level you are going to see this user in all your projects.

How can I determine a user's rights?
You can modify a user's rights in several ways.
- Through the User tab in the Business or Project window, as described in the previous section.
- Through the Companies page in the User menu.
- Through the Projects page in the User Menu.

Managing rights through the User page
1. In the edit screen, click on the user's "Company Rights" or "Project Rights" tab. In the appropriate panel, you look up the company or project to which this user belongs.
You can see all the rights a user has. The rights in transparent gray are rights that you do not have that the user has. You cannot delete or add rights that you do not have.
In the permissions field, click "Add rights."
If the user has all the rights you can assign then the message "Has all available rights" appears.
If the user does not yet have all rights, a list of rights that can be assigned appears.
You can also choose to grant or remove all rights at once in the selection field.
If you want to delete a user's right, click the "X" in the dark gray field.

Managing rights through the Companies / Projects page
1. Search in the "Companies" or "Projects" menu, for the company or project for which you want to manage user rights
Type the name of the company or project in the search field.
Click the company name or project name in the "Name" column or click the edit button to open it. Go to the "Users" tab.
Enter the name of the user in the search field. You will then be shown the permissions for this user.
You can edit the rights in the same way as through the Users menu.
