Change asset

Go to the current asset whose gateway you want to switch, and then to the "Data Sources" panel.

Is the "Switch data source" button visible?

If yes:

  • Press the "Switch data source" button.
  • Enter the serial number of the new gateway (in the "With:" field) and press "Swap".

There opens a new screen where you can review the changes one more time. Click "Confirm" to confirm the changes.

When the conversion cannot be performed 100% successfully you will also receive a message. The data sources where the conversion was not successful, need to be filled in manually (how to do this is shown below).

If no:

  • Click on the data source's edit button. It is located to the right of the data source name and looks like a pencil.
  • At the bottom right of this screen, click the "Add Data Source" button

  • By hovering your mouse over a "Data source" (do not click), the raw address appears in a black bar with the Slave Id at the back.

  • When adding a new data source, adjust the start date to when the new gateway was built in.
  • Customize the other data source (from the old gateway) as well, specify an end date here. This is the date the gateway was replaced.

After this press "Save."
