Installation
Use the mounting holes provided in the power cabinet to secure the cabinet to the wall.

When choosing the location, be mindful of:
- Positioning of possible cable passages.
- The position of the antenna: it should hang freely and be oriented horizontally.
- Always mount the cabinet with the antenna at the top.
- Do not hang the cabinet under another power cabinet. This will block the antenna.
- Do not hang the cabinet just below a metal structure.

When connecting the Eastron's output, make sure that the cables that power the C04, remain properly connected.
Following the rules of the trade, connect the voltage to be monitored to the EASTRON SDM630-Modbus V2. Connect the supply conductors along the top of the meter. To do this, first remove the plastic "Communication shield" that separates the RS-485 cabling from the phase connections.
If connecting under power, first disconnect and remove the RS-485 attachment. After reattaching the plastic "Communication shield" you can then reconnect it according to the picture below.
The departing conductors that go to the fuse box connect to the bottom of the meter.
To power the smart site cabin, connect an adequately fused 230V circuit to the row terminal (indicated below). This is the row terminal on the far right, next to the grounding row terminal.

Switching heating
We switch the phase wire that controls the heating using the mounted relay. To do this, we connect the normally closed (NG) contact of the relay.

Switching external relays
Are you switching additional external relays with the mounted relays? Then be sure to ensure correct operation by providing the necessary interference suppression. To do so, follow the instructions on this page closely.

Door contact
The door contact is a normal open magnetic contact and connects via the right-hand row terminal.
This row terminal is an option of the Premium package and is not fitted in the Essential and Advanced versions.

Connection C04
In principle, the C04 should never be disconnected. In case it does, reconnect the C04 as follows:
- The 2-pole connector coming from the +24V power supply comes on top on the "Power" socket.
- Connect the blue marked antenna cable marked "GPS" on the cable to the "GPS" connector.
- The red marked antenna cable with marking "LTE" on it connects to the "LPWAN" jack.
- You connect the cable with 4-pin connector coming from the temperature sensor (protruding from the bottom of the case) to the "1-Wire" connection of the C04. This is the connector on the lower left (not present on the Essential version).
- The 4-pin connector with the pink, purple and black wires for the relay control connects to the "Outputs" jack on the C04. This is the connector on the upper right.
- The 4-pole connector with the purple cable coming from the row terminal belongs to the digital inputs indicated on the C04 with "Digital in" or "Pulse count". This is the connector on the bottom right (only present on the premium version).

Safety
- Use cable sleeves, properly fitted, on all flexible wires. Avoid bad contacts; this can lead to malfunction or fire.
- Always switch off the relevant (main) fuse of the cabinet that comes before our measuring cabinet before performing any work or unscrewing the cabinet.
- Always ensure that the grounding is looped between input and output via the row terminal provided.
- Always ensure that the phase switched by the relay is fused at max. 16A.

Commissioning
After unscrewing the cabinet and turning on the fuse that will power the measurement solution:
- The power meter screen lights up.
- The LED on the +24V power supply lights up.
- The green "Power" LED on the C04 lights up.
- And the C04 start up with a red LED.
When the status LED turns green the device is connected. If the device is already registered and assigned to an asset, you can use the portal or the app to check if the measurement data is coming in to the portal. Please note that this may take several minutes.
