General information
The standard antennas for a C07W gateway contain 3 connectors, consisting of:
- LTE connector with red marking.
- GPS connector with blue marking.
- WiFi connector with yellow marking.
The antenna connectors are connected as shown below: Connected to the SMA connectors of the C07W gateway. Always connect the connectors after mounting the gateway on the DIN rail.
Please note the tightening torque of the antenna connectors: 0.3 - 0.5 Nm.
Tightening recommended by hand, not with a wrench.
If there is little space for an upright antenna connector then you can also use Calculus for 90° SMA connectors as well.

Types of antennas
Calculus uses 2 implementations of antennas for the C07W gateway, a flat version and a spherical version.
Points of interest for good reception:
- The spherical antenna requires a metal surface; the flat antenna can be be mounted on any surface.
- Antennas are best mounted horizontally and facing upward with no high metal obstacles within a radius of 0.5m.
- Antenna cables are best as short as possible to minimize reception losses. Calculus provides standard lengths of 2m. In exceptional cases 3m can also be provided, or an extension piece, but this will increase the reception loss.
