Introduction
You can allow a user or customer to create their own projects without allowing the user or customer to make changes to yours. For this you use a subsidiary.
The terms Company and Subsidiary that are used in the context of the Calculus portal, indicate user accounts and the way in which they can communicate with each other. They do not refer to companies and subsidiaries as used in the corporate sense.
A subsidiary functions as a corporation itself but is subject to the rights of the parent company.
Users of the main company may, depending on their rights, make changes to the subsidiary and its associated projects. Reversely, someone who has rights at the subsidiary cannot make changes at the main company.
As a result the main company's projects are secured.

Instructions
1. Use the menu on the left to go to the "Companies" page.
2. Click the plus sign to add a new company.
3. A screen will now appear where you can enter the subsidiary's information.
4. After you have entered the required fields and any additional information, click on "Save."
5. The subsidiary now appears in the company list.
6. Click on the 3 vertical dots to the right of the name, then click on the "Edit" button.
7. In the edit window, go to the "Invite Users" tab. Using their e-mail address, invite the users to whom you wish to grant permissions. When you have checked the desired rights, click on the invite button. This is in the lower right corner of the following image.
The rights "Notifications" and "ViewProject" are checked by default.
If the user of the subsidiary wishes to create projects, he needs the right "ProjectManagement".

8. As soon as the subsidiary is created, a project with the company name and the suffix "- All Assets" is added in the portal. You can find this project by clicking on the folder icon at the top left of the portal.
9. Type the name of the firm in the search field and click on the project with the firm name, with "- All Assets" added after it, to open the project.
