Quick start guide for Calculus CO₂ measurement case
Activating the LoRa receiver:
Connect the Powercon® connector of the power cable to the corresponding socket in the box and plug the connector into a wall outlet.
The "Power" light on the C07W will illuminate.
After about 30 seconds, the "Status" light will indicate with a green color that the device has started.
The modem (in expansion slot 1) will now seek a connection. When the associated LED blinks briefly green every few seconds, the modem has successfully connected to the Internet.
After this the "Connected" light should change from red, or pulsing red to green. This indicates that the gateway is connected to the Calculus cloud. Short yellow pulses from the "Connected" LED indicate that data is being being transmitted.
Activation of the LoRa CO₂ measurement devices:
Place the device at the desired location. The device will send a measurement every 10 minutes.
View the measurements on the Calculus portal via https://portal.calculus.group.
Disabling the system:
Pull the power cord of the measurement case from the power outlet. Shutting off the system is not necessary.
If you turn off the system for a long time, we recommend removing the batteries from the sensors. This is to prevent excessive consumption.
Replacing batteries:
Each Elsys ERS-CO₂ meter can hold 2 Lithium cells (size "AA") of 3.6V. These can be replaced by opening the back of the CO₂ sensor using a flat-blade screwdriver.
Note: A 1.5V Alkaline AA will not work.
