Installation Calculus Digger tool
You can install the Calculus Digger tool via "https://updates.calculus.group/digger/" by clicking "Install."
You will get a message that the publisher is not verified, but you can safely proceed. Once installed, you can open the Digger tool and you will be prompted for your login credentials. These are the same ones you use to log in to the Calculus Portal.
On startup of the Digger tool, it automatically checks for updates so that you always have the latest version.

Setting up Calculus Digger tool
When you open the Digger and log in, you will see the following screen.
Step 1:
Under "Select Gateway," choose the gateway for which you want to use the Calculus
Digger tool. You will only see gateways that are online and linked
to projects to which you have access.
Step 2:
Next, under "Select Slave Definition" choose
"modbus.tcp".
Step 3:
Next, at "Select Slave" you can select the IP address
to which the DEIF controller is connected.
Step 4:
Once you have set these three fields, finally click
activate" button to create an active tunnel connection to the chosen gateway via your computer

DEIF Utility software
Next, open the DEIF Utility software.
Click on file and then on Settings. Here, go to the "Communication" tab.
Followed by choosing "TCP-IP." When using the Calculus Digger tool, you should for "IP address of the device" always enter 127.0.0.1 and for "Device modbus ID" enter 1.
Under "Advanced settings" it is best to set the times a little higher because now the traffic is no longer local, but through the Internet and a 4G Internet connection. For example:
Click OK and "start communication with the device" (F5).
