What is a project?
You can create a project to group together data that is connected, and display them. A project is thus a collection of assets, dashboards, alerts, diagrams, 360° images etc. that are bundled together.
You can think of a project as temporary, or as a permanent facility to which you can add multiple dashboards.
Permanent: you create a project named "Generators" in which you assign a dashboard to each specific generator. All your generator dashboards will be grouped in this project.
Temporary: if you have a temporary project or event, you can create a project(in the Calculus portal) for this event. In the project, you can create a "Generators" dashboard.

Add project information
Choose an appropriate name for your project.
2. If you are managing a temporary project or event within a certain timeframe (this can range from hours to years), we recommend that you use the switches "Use start date" and "Use end date". This way you always have a view of the period during which your data was collected. In real-time as the data comes in, but also when the project is over. If you do not activate these switches, you will automatically get the data from the last 24 hours. For a permanent project, it is best to leave the switches off.
3. As you want your date range to be remembered in all dashboards you can select this option.
4. Under Location you can add an address.
5. Type in the main address of your project.
- If the site is known on Google Maps, you can also type in the name of the site or building. Then click the "Get location" button below the postal code field to set the address.
- Select the desired zoom percentage below the map.
6. Under Asset groups, you can manage your groups, or add new ones.
7. Press save.
