On-site mobile heaters are a lifesaver in countless projects. However, the most dreaded scenario is that such a mobile heater comes to a halt due to a malfunction. Calculus joined forces with Thermobile to provide monitoring that meets the needs of rental companies. Failures can thus be avoided or easily resolved, and the companies get all the data they need to discover where things went wrong.
Less need for technical interventions
What many companies run into is the general reset of a heater when it fails. This often requires a technician to manually initiate a general reset of the unit. Thanks to the software we developed together with Thermobile, rental companies can now easily perform this reset remotely. This frees up a lot of technicians who are hard to find for other tasks, and saves a lot of (travel) time.
Burner failures, fan hang-ups or general power outages are thus quickly and easily dealt with. Resetting the maximum temperature protection cannot be done remotely for safety reasons. Thus, safe operation is always safeguarded.
Additional information on temperature and other parameters
Digitization has the added advantage that various parameters can be constantly monitored. In an easily overseeable portal, rental companies can easily set which parameters they want to monitor via a clear dashboard. The exact temperature of the heated room thus no longer remains a mystery, and the exact number of operating hours, burner activity and even the temperature of the air sucked in become easily consultable based on real-time measurements.
Certainty in case of defects
Finally, heater monitoring gives rental companies additional security: after all, if something goes wrong with their customer, they can refer to the measured data to figure out where it went wrong or - if necessary - to assure themselves that the machine is working properly and that it was deployed correctly.
Cooperation with Thermobile
Anyone who purchases a mobile heater from Thermobile can immediately have it equipped with a smart measurement solution and have it linked to the associated software portal. Rental companies that have previously purchased a heater from Thermobile but do not yet have digitized heaters can do so at hello@calculus.group.
